Overview

MOR-EV gives Massachusetts residents several ways to save money on the purchase or lease of eligible electric vehicles. All residents, businesses, and non-profit organizations can apply for EV rebates at participating dealerships and immediately apply the savings to reduce upfront costs. Plus, if your household income qualifies, you can save even more, with additional rebates for both new and used vehicles.

MOR-EV Rebates Make Driving Electric Affordable

Income-qualifying applicants have 2 options to receive this rebate:

  • Option 1: apply online for a prequalification voucher, bring your approved voucher to a participating dealership, and receive the rebate at the point of sale or lease.
  • Option 2: apply online for this rebate post purchase or lease within 90 days. 
MOR-EV+ (New & used vehicles)$1,500

Income-qualifying applicants have 2 options to receive this rebate: 

  • Option 1: apply online for a prequalification voucher, bring your approved voucher to a participating dealership, and receive the rebate at the point of sale or lease. 
  • Option 2: apply online for this rebate post purchase or lease within 90 days.

This rebate is an addition to the MOR-EV Standard, Used, or Trade-In rebates.

MOR-EV Trade-In$1,000

Apply online when having traded-in a qualifying internal combustion engine vehicle at the time of purchase or lease of an eligible new or used electric vehicle.

This rebate is in addition to the MOR-EV Standard, Used, or MOR-EV+ rebates.

Eligible Vehicles

MOR-EV Standard

Receive the MOR-EV Standard rebate at the point of sale when you purchase or lease an eligible new vehicle at participating dealerships. View Eligible Dealerships.

MOR-EV Used

Income-qualifying applicants can get prequalified and receive a voucher to use at a participating dealership and apply the MOR-EV Used rebate at the time of purchase or lease of an eligible used vehicle.

MOR-EV+

Income-qualifying applicants can get prequalified and receive a voucher to use at a participating dealership and apply the MOR-EV+ rebate at the time of purchase or lease of an eligible new or used vehicle.

MOR-EV Trade-In

Apply online for the MOR-EV Trade-In rebate after the purchase or lease of an eligibile EV when having traded-in a qualifying internal combustion engine vehicle at the time of purchase or lease. This rebate is not available through participating dealerships but must be applied for after the trade-in via an online application.

If you are not redeeming the rebate at the dealership, all applicants have the option to apply for a rebate online within 90 days of purchase or lease.
