COVID-19 Update

The Center for Sustainable Energy (CSE) has instated a work from home policy for all employees due to increasing concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19. Operations for the Massachusetts Offers Rebates for Electric Vehicles (MOR-EV) will continue but delays to check processing and mailing may occur until our office re-opens. If you have mailed in supporting documents for your application, the postmark will be honored as the submission date, but we will review these documents upon re-opening of the CSE office. You may experience delays in processing.

Eligible Vehicles List

The information listed below contains current rebate information for vehicle purchased after January 1, 2020. New criteria for the MOR-EV program starting on January 1, 2020 can be found here.

To qualify for a rebate, submit a MOR-EV application:

  1. Within 3 months of the purchase or lease date of a new vehicle with a purchase price less than $50,000.
  2. After taking possession of the vehicle
  3. Prior to the exhaustion of rebate funds. Rebates are subject to available funding and will be processed on a first come, first served basis.

You are responsible for submitting the rebate application and all required documentation to CSE. Only vehicles purchased on or after January 1, 2020 are eligible. To get started, find your eligible vehicle and click “Apply Now.”
