How do I get a vehicle added to the eligible vehicles list?

MOR-EV Standard

The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) must reach out to MOR-EV for eligibility consideration.

For OEMs and Dealerships

To have a vehicle added to the MOR-EV eligible vehicle list it must:

  • Have a Total MSRP of $55,000 or less
  • Be California approved/certified (For details, review the MOR-EV Guideline)

For both newly eligible vehicles and new model years, request information from mor-ev@energcenter.org with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) decipherment and a marketing photo of the vehicle. Please note for some newly eligible vehicle models, the California certification may also be required.

MOR-EV Used

The Program Administrator determines vehicle eligibility based on the program requirements. If you believe a vehicle should qualify for the program, please contact mor-ev@energcenter.org

MOR-EV Trucks

The Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) must reach out to MOR-EV for eligibility consideration.

OEMs and dealerships

To have a vehicle added to the MOR-EV Trucks – Pick-up & Class 2b eligible vehicle list it must:

  • Be new on-road battery electric or fuel-cell electric pick-up truck with a GVWR between 6,001 and 10,000 pounds
  • Be new on-road battery electric or fuel-cell electric vehicles of any body type with a GVWR between 8,501-10,000 pounds
  • Have a Total MSRP of $80,000 or less

To have a vehicle added to the MOR-EV Trucks – Class 3-8 eligible vehicle list it must:

  • Be new on-road battery electric or fuel-cell electric vehicles with a GVWR above 10,000 pounds
  • Have Total MSRP of $2,000,000 or less
