Which vehicles are eligible for the program?

MOR-EV Standard

Rebates are available for new battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) with a Total MSRP of $55,000 or less. Check out eligible vehicles here.

Plug-In Hybrid Vehicles (PHEVs) purchased after June 30, 2023, are no longer eligible to receive a rebate under the MOR-EV program. Eligible individuals, businesses and non-profits who have purchased or leased a Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle on or before June 30, 2023, have 90 days from the date of purchase/lease to submit an application for a $1,500 post purchase PHEV rebate.

MOR-EV Used

Rebates are available for used battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) with a Purchase Price of $40,000 or less. Vehicles must be a model year at least 2 years earlier than the calendar year when it was purchased or leased and not have received a MOR-EV rebate within the past 36 months. Eligible vehicles must be purchased at a licensed dealership; private sales do not qualify. Check out eligible vehicles here.

MOR-EV Trucks

Pick-ups & Class 2b

Rebates are available for new on-road battery electric or fuel-cell electric pick-up trucks with a GVWR between 6,001 and 10,000 pounds, and new on-road battery electric or fuel-cell electric vehicles of any body type with a GVWR between 8,501-10,000 pounds. To qualify for a rebate the Total MSRP must be $80,000 or less. Check out eligible vehicles here.

Class 3-8

Rebates are available for new on-road battery electric or fuel-cell electric vehicles with a GVWR above 10,000 pounds (class 3 to class 8). To qualify for a rebate the sales price must be $2,000,000 or less. Rebate levels vary depending on the vehicle class. Check out eligible vehicles here.
