Which rebates require an approved prequalification voucher from the customer?
The MOR-EV Used rebate and the MOR-EV+ rebate adder both require customers to prequalify through an online application to verify if they meet the eligibility requirements. Once a customer receives preapproval, they can present their approved prequalification voucher email at a participating dealership to receive the MOR-EV Used rebate and/or the MOR-EV+ rebate adder. Dealers can confirm the validity of the prequalification through their dealership account within the application portal.
Where can I find blank forms required for the applications?
Links to the Applicant Terms & Conditions, Rebate Transfer Acknowledgement Form, and Used Vehicle Attestation form (MOR-EV Used rebate only) can all be found on the Dealer Enrollment page.
I received the MOR-EV Standard rebate on my new vehicle from the dealer, but I think I might also qualify for the MOR-EV+ additional rebate. Can I apply myself to get the additional rebate post purchase?
Unfortunately, no. If you have already received the MOR-EV Standard rebate at the point of sale through a participating dealership, you cannot apply for the additional MOR-EV+ rebate afterward. To qualify for the MOR-EV+ rebate, you must either have an approved prequalification application before purchasing the vehicle and present it to the dealer at the time of purchase/lease, OR you will need to forgo the option to receive a rebate at the dealer and instead apply for the MOR-EV+ rebate alongside your MOR-EV Standard or MOR-EV Used rebate after completing the purchase or lease.
I submitted my prequalification application recently, but I haven't received approval yet. I plan to purchase or lease my vehicle soon. Does my application have to be approved prior to purchasing or leasing the vehicle?
It depends on whether you wish to receive the rebate(s) at the time of purchase or lease. If you wish to qualify for the additional MOR-EV+ rebate adder or intend to purchase a used vehicle and have the MOR-EV Used rebate applied by the dealer at the point-of-sale, your prequalification application for one or both of these rebate offerings must be approved before purchasing or leasing the vehicle. Opting to purchase or lease your vehicle before your prequalification application is approved means foregoing the option to receive the rebate(s) at the dealership.
