What is changing in the MOR-EV rebate program?

MOR-EV Standard Light-Duty Vehicles

As of August 8, 2023, the MOR-EV Standard Rebate of $3,500 for purchases or leases of eligible new light-duty electric vehicles (EVs) and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEVs) is offered through participating dealerships in the Commonwealth at the point of sale or at the time of lease. Alternatively, applicants can still apply for a rebate online within 90 days of the purchase or lease of an eligible vehicle.

The Massachusetts Offers Rebates for Electric Vehicles (MOR-EV) program makes electric vehicles (EVs) more affordable for Massachusetts residents, businesses, and non-profit organizations providing more equitable access to EVs.

How does the MOR-EV application process work?

Select an eligible vehicle, find a participating dealer and receive the $3,500 rebate when you purchase or lease your new vehicle. Provide the dealer with a copy of your current Massachusetts driver’s license, sign the Applicant Terms & Conditions and the Rebate Transfer Acknowledgement Form, and your dealer will take care of the rest.
